After Cat was born, I realised that once I go back to work, there was no way I'd be able to keep up my reviewing pace, because I wouldn't be able to read three books a week anymore; to be honest I'm struggling to do so now and I'm still at home all day. So I decided I needed to think up something new for my blog, because I do want to keep to a three posts per week schedule, and I started racking my brain for ideas. Which is when I remembered Mark Lawrence's Turning the Tables posts. These were interviews he did with book reviewers who had interviewed him. I really enjoyed those posts as they gave me an opportunity to learn more about some of the bloggers I follow and admire.
And thus Blogger Query was born. I decided that I'd interview the bloggers I follow and ask them about blogging and reviewing. After working on the idea for a bit – thanks to Stefan of Civilian Reader for letting me bounce questions off him and for some much needed advice – I felt it was something I could do and from next week, I'll be posting an interview every Wednesday. We kick off with Stefan from Civilian Reader, both because I really admire his interviews and because he was kind enough to help me crystallise my ideas for this new feature.
I've been having a great time getting the interviews together and I've already had some very interesting answers. I hope you'll find the interviews as interesting as I did. Please join me on Wednesday for the first one!
